Cornwall Family History Society
(Registered Charity No 288686)
Welcome to the Cornwall Family History Society web site. Since its beginning in 1976, the Society has aimed to become a ‘centre of excellence’ by encouraging Cornish family history research. This is being achieved by publishing a quarterly Journal, co-ordinating the transcription and indexing of over 5 million original records, maintaining a research library in Truro for members and the general public and offering a means of worldwide contact and exchange of information between members.
We hope you enjoy browsing our web site.
LATEST SOCIETY NEWS
New Project
The Society is producing a new web site to commemorate the start of World War 1. The intention is to produce a fully searchable index of anyone connected with Cornwall during both world wars and subsequent conflicts. It is intended to include individual photographs, war grave photographs and also some information about events in individual towns and villages. They will be remembered.

JUNE Journal
The PDF of the June Journal is now available in the Members' Area.
Remember there is a great financial advantage in taking this paperless version of the Society's Journal - it helps the Society, it helps the environment and it helps your pocket.
