Becoming a Member of Our Society
Cornwall Family History Society mebership
The Cornwall Family History Society, founded in 1976, has members worldwide. Our research library in Truro holds ever-growing records of many thousands of Cornish people allowing you to hopefully make those elusive family connections. A small subscription to our research database will give you access to our millions of records in your own home.
The main reason for joining a family history society is usually to make contact with other people – people who share your enthusiasm and are happy to pass on their experience. Contact with other members can be made through the members area of the website.
There are several types of membership to the Cornwall Family History Society.
Individual Membership
For 1 person, UK or non-UK membership; with or without access to the society’s research database.
Life Membership
For the price of 15 years membership, you can enjoy all the benefits and privileges of membership for as long as our society exists.
Electronic Membership
Membership with electronic access to the journal; with or without access to the society’s research database.
Corporate Membership
(Libraries, other FH Societies, etc) UK or non-UK membership; with or without access to the society’s research database.
**Please note that when opting for a membership with database access, your membership will be instantaneous and you will be notified of your membership number by automatic email. Access to the research database has to be done manually and may take up to three working days.
