Gorran, or St Gorran/Goran as it is often called, is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Powder. It is bordered by St Ewe and Mevagissey to the north, Mevagissey Bay to the east, Veryan Bay and St Michael Caerhays to the south and St Ewe to the west. Gorran Haven was originally called Point East. Contained within Gorran are the churchtown and Gorran Haven and the villages of Portmellon, Boswinger, Recassa, Trevarrick and Tregavarras.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
