Grade is situated in the Meneage District on the Lizard and in the Deanery and Hundred of Kerrier. The parish is divided into four detached portions. The first portion, upon which the church stands, is bordered by Ruan Minor to the west and north, the ocean to the east and Landwednack to the south. The second portion is bordered by St Keverne and the ocean to the north and east, Ruan Minor to the south and Ruan Major to the west. The third portion is surrounded by the parish of Ruan Major. The fourth portion is bordered by Ruan Major to the north, east and south and Mullion to the west. Grade is situated on the most southerly peninsula in Cornwall. In 1934, because of falling population, this parish was united with Ruan Major and Ruan Minor to form a single parish of Grade-Ruan.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
