Helland is situated in the Deanery of Trigg Minor and Hundred of Trigg. It is bordered by St Mabyn and Blisland to the north, Blisland and Cardinham to the east, Bodmin to the south and the River Camel (which separates it from Egloshayle and St Mabyn) to the west. Helland is a small village about 3 miles north of Bodmin with the hamlet of Helland-Bridge spanning the upper reaches of the River Camel. It is taxed by the name of Henland in the Domesday Book of 1086. Besides the churchtown, the hamlets are Helland-Bridge and Bodwen.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
