Little Petherick, properly known as St Petroc Minor, is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Pydar. It is bordered by Padstow to the north, St Issey to the east, St Columb Major to the south and St Ervan to the west. The parish now adjoins the parish of St Issey with which, since 1934, it shares one civil Parish Council. Hamlets and villages, besides the churchtown, are Highway and Tregonna.
