Luxulyan is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Powder. It is bordered by Lanivet to the north, Lanlivery and Tywardreath to the east, St Blazey and St Austell to the south and Roche to the west. The main villages and hamlets in the parish are the churchtown, Bridges, Treskilling, Rosemelling and Higher Menadue.
