Mevagissey is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Powder. It is bordered by St Austell and St Ewe to the north, St Austell Bay to the east, Gorran to the south and Gorran and St Ewe to the west. This parish contains the ancient fishing port of Mevagissey on the south coast of Cornwall and is south-west of St Austell.
