St Newlyn East, usually abbreviated to Newlyn East, is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Pydar and is about 5 miles south of Newquay. It is bordered by St Columb Minor and Colan to the north, St Enoder to the east, Ladock, St Erme and St Allen to the south and Perranzabuloe, Cubert and Crantock to the west. The ancient borough of Mitchell lies partly in this parish and partly in St Enoder. The main villages and hamlets are the churchtown, Mitchell and Fiddlers Green.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
