Ruan Minor is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Kerrier. It is bordered by Ruan Major and the largest of the detached portions of Grade to the north, the ocean to the east, Grade and Landewednack to the south and Mullion to the west. Ruan Minor was a small parish on the south-west coast of Cornwall. In 1934, because of falling population, this parish was united with Ruan Major and Grade to form a single parish of Grade-Ruan. The main population is centred on the coastal village of Cadgwith. Other villages in this former parish are Treal and Ruan Vean.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
