St Breward, commonly called Simonward, is situated in the Deanery of Trigg Minor and Hundred of Trigg. It is bordered by Advent and St Clether to the north, Altarnun to the east, Blisland and St Mabyn to the south and St Tudy and Michaelstow to the west. The village of St Breward boasts the highest church in Cornwall, at about 700ft above sea-level, and is well known for granite and china clay quarries. Within the parish lie two of Cornwall’s best known landmarks, Roughtor and Brown Willy. The villages of the parish are the churchtown, Treswallock and Higher and Lower Lank.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
