St Eval is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Pydar. It is bordered by St Merryn to the north, St Ervan to the east, Mawgan-in-Pydar to the south and the ocean to the west. During the 1939-1945 War, St Eval was an important RAF Coastal Command airfield and this has left its mark in the military style of buildings, housing and memorials in the Parish Church. The villages are the churchtown, Treburthick (now Treburrick) and Downhill.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
