St Issey is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Pydar. It is bordered by the River Camel (which separates it from Padstow and St Minver) to the north, St Breock to the east, St Wenn and St Columb Major to the south and Little Petherick to the west. The parish is situated just south of Padstow and on the old Saints Way from that parish to Fowey on the south coast. The smaller parish of Little Petherick is on the western boundary but both parishes are served by the same council, the civil parish of Little Petherick being added into St Issey in 1934. Main villages in the parish are the churchtown, Tredinnick, Trenance and Trevance.
A tribute to those brave people of Cornwall who served or laid down their lives in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
