St Mewan is situated in the Deanery and Hundred of Powder and is located on the western boundary of the town of St Austell. It is bordered by St Austell to the north and east, St Ewe to the south and St Stephen-in-Brannel to the west. The main villages are Sticker, Polgooth and Trewoon.
