St Tudy is situated in the Deanery of Trigg Minor and Hundred of Trigg. It is bordered by St Teath and Michaelstow to the north, St Breward to the east, St Mabyn to the south and St Kew to the west. The parish lies between the Rivers Camel and Allen.
